From ideation, naming, logo and branding to a fully built website, I've been growing Award Maven side by side for three years, shifting them from "generic trophy vendor" to a premium partner for corporate recognition, deal toys and sales awards.
Created the Award Maven brand from scratch, including concept and name direction in line with premium recognition, logo design that works across web, print and award engravings, and a color palette and visual style suitable for corporate and luxury recognition.
Shaped Award Maven's positioning as a premium recognition partner. Framed offerings around employee recognition programs, President's Club and sales awards, premium deal toys and financial tombstones, and onboarding and milestone gifts. Ensured the tone felt high-touch, consultative and "done for you" for busy HR and sales leaders.
Designed and created the current Award Maven website from the ground up. Defined the information architecture so visitors can browse by use case (sales awards, deal toys, retirement, onboarding, real estate) or by occasion (EoY, SKO, NSM, President's Club).
Wrote or edited all core page copy with SEO in mind and clear CTAs throughout.
Planned, wrote or optimized 265 SEO-focused blog posts covering retirement recognition guides, turnaround time expectations, trophy and award ideas, lessons from how big tech recognizes employees, types of sales awards, onboarding gift box ideas, award wording guides, and industry-specific posts.
Created a tiered content structure so blogs support key service pages and product categories. Implemented review schema, structured data and HTML including real client names and quotes.
Built two structured Google Ads campaigns centered on deal toys and custom awards/recognition. Created multiple ad groups with tailored headlines and descriptions. Compiled an 80-term negative keyword list to block irrelevant clicks and achieved "Excellent" ad strength for key campaigns.
Planned and wrote a consistent stream of LinkedIn content including testimonials highlighting on-time delivery and long-term partnerships, blog article promos pushing key SEO pieces, product videos and visuals showing awards and deal toys in context, hiring announcements to show growth, and seasonal recognition content with clever puns.
Used LinkedIn to position Award Maven as both a partner and advisor, not just a vendor.
Planned and wrote more than 30 email campaigns for end-of-year recognition, fiscal year close awards, SKO and NSM planning, Q1 recognition reminders, and idea-based emails for deal toys, sales awards and onboarding gifts.
Encouraged clients to plan early so awards aren't rushed and timelines are protected. Linked emails to landing pages, quote forms and strategic blog posts.
